Both vehicles look really nice though, and the preference of one over the other is up to one's preferences and needs. Moving over to the inside, its materials feels high quality and durable. For a mid-sized SUV, the combination of soft touch materials and hard surfaces is good. The technology and analog feel in the interior is well-balanced too since there is not too much usage of screen inside. This is not to say that the interior is outdated, because that is not true since it still has a screen in the center of the dashboard, which is capable of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The engine in this truck, being a turbo-diesel is responsive to accelerate with because huge amounts of its torque is already available at even low-range RPMs. It's also a bit more audible inside which adds more to the sense of speed when accelerating. This makes this truck a probably good highway cruiser, since torque is always available throughout the rev range. The way it accelerates is more on the smooth side, rather than a lively sporty feel which is expected from a diesel truck. The transmission transferring the power to the wheels does its shifting smoothly in automatic mode, and responds nicely in manual mode. The accelerator and brake pedals of the car are responsive with inputs being received by the car reliably. The MU-X leans more on the usual ladder-framed SUV vibe which is even more obvious with its steering which is considerably weighted. On normal driving such as cruising and accelerating, the steering on this truck is responsive to inputs by the driver and actually has good feedback. This makes the truck feel more solid and tightly-put together in general too. The sensors and 360-degree camera make this SUV easier to park. It also has some other technological features such as the lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control which add safety to this vehicle. Regarding the suspension/chassis, on smooth roads, the truck is comfortable with not much road noise heard inside. There is some body roll when going around corners, which is normal for this kind of vehicle. When traversing rougher terrain though, the surface imperfections are felt but not to the point that it is unbearable already. Overall, this vehicle is a good one because of its good features, power, and fuel efficiency. In the city it's capable of 8 km/l, 12 km/l combined, and 17 km/l for highway driving.
