🏞️ Goa Day 3: Chasing Waterfalls & Battling Leeches in Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary! 🛵 Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping and surprisingly challenging third day in Goa! We ditched the beaches to finish our ultimate mission: finding the minority waterfalls deep inside the Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary. We rented a scooty and tackled a tough 30-kilometer ride on very rough roads just to reach the sanctuary. On the way, we stopped at a tiny, unrestricted waterfall where we could truly enjoy the cool water—a perfect little sneak peek! Inside Netravali, we had two main targets: Mainapi Waterfall: A 4.5 km trek that was relatively easy... until we reached the end! Prepare yourselves for over 500 steep staircases to climb down to reach the magnificent falls. ⚠️ Our Warning: Be aware that there's no place to sit or get into the water due to restrictions. It's strictly a photo-op before an immediate return. Honestly, we don't recommend this spot if you want to swim! Savri Waterfall: (2 km trek) We opted not to go here, but stick around to the end as we ask someone who did opt for the Safari what they thought of it and the Savri falls! The unexpected challenge? The journey back! We were attacked by multiple leeches! 😱 It was a terrifying experience that left us shaken and definitely not wanting to go back.
