The streets of St Helier, Jersey came alive last August for the Battle of Flowers 2025 — one of the Channel Islands’ biggest and most colourful summer festivals! 🌼 This year’s parade followed a brand-new town route along La Route de la Liberation, Weighbridge Place, Conway Street, Broad Street, York Street, The Parade, and Gloucester Street — bringing the celebration right into the heart of town. Watch as the floats, dancers, and musicians fill the streets with colour and energy, and stay until the end for the spectacular fireworks finale that lights up the Jersey night sky! 🎇 💐 What is the Battle of Flowers? The Battle of Flowers began in 1902 to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra. Back then, people actually threw flowers at each other — that’s how it got its name!
