How to Fit LEDs to RC Car - Tamiya Audi Quattro A2 Body Detailing P4

Welcome to the final part of my Tamiya Audi Quattro A2 Rallye Body Set Build Guide. In this episode I show how to DIY install LEDs to the headlights, Tail Lights and the 6 spotlights. The kit comes with light buckets for the head and tail lights, but you need to modify the spotlights to be able to incorporate the 3mm LEDs. I will show how to solder all the connections and wire the LEDs to the main RC car battery - no extra power supply needed! If you buy the components on-line, you can get all parts needed for about £5! All you will need is as follows: 2x white 5mm LEDs (3v forward voltage / 20mA forward current) 2x red LEDs (3v forward voltage / 20mA forward current) 6x white 3mm LEDs (3v forward voltage / 20mA forward current) 5x 220 Ohm 0.25 Watt metal film resistors 2-wire connector On/off switch 0.5 mm electrical wire (I used wires from a RJ45 computer cable) I hope you enjoy the video, please feel free to ask any questions in the comments.
