Verse 2 Salutations to Shoṇādrinātha— Lord of the guardians of directions, the eternal one, Adorned with the crescent moon, Savior who ferries beings across the ocean of worldly sorrow. Verse 3 Salutations to Shoṇādrinātha— Abode of the universe, benefactor of the world, Commander of divine hosts, bestower of victory, The complete, sacred, and ancient Lord. Verse 4 Salutations to Shoṇādrinātha— Praised by Brihaspati, granter of boons, Half-bodied with Umā, Lord of the ganas, Whose eyes are the moon, sun, and fire. Verse 5 Salutations to Shoṇādrinātha— Mounted on the cosmic chariot, bearer of rasa, Driven by Vedic horses, praised by Brahmā, Holder of lunar and solar wheels, radiant like the moon. Verse 6 Salutations to Shoṇādrinātha— With Brahmā as charioteer, wielder of mountain bow, Lord of mountains, fire-eyed on the forehead, King of serpents. Verse 7 Salutations to Shoṇādrinātha— Whose arrow is Govinda, master of the three guṇas, Lord of the universe, bearer of the bull banner, Destroyer of Tripura. Verse 8 Salutations to Shoṇādrinātha— Beyond aging, bearer of matted locks, Incomprehensible in form, beloved of Viṣṇu, Destroyer of devotees’ heaps of sins.
