Today I take a second look at snail mucin and retry the Coxrx snail mucin and the Benton snail essence to see if they are worthy of a second chance. Snail mucin or secretion has so many supporters in the skincare community with many people claiming it has transformed their skin care routine. However its not for everyone and in this video we take a look at the pros and cons of snail mucin skincare. Pros - studies have shown snail mucin to be high in Hyaluronic Acid which will hydrate the skin and help with dryness, it also contains copper peptides which will boost collagen production for smoother younger skin. Cons - animal derived so not an option if you are looking for vegan skincare, it also does not have the highest amount of copper peptides which means other serums may be better for anti ageing.
