On the 6th In April 1974, the then internationally still quite unknown Swedish pop group ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest (Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson) in the southern English seaside resort of Brighton. With this triumph, in which ABBA had to prevail against powerful competitors such as Olivia Newton-John, Mouth & Mac Neal or Gigliola Cinquetti, it meant the start of a world career that continues - with interruptions - to this day. It was not until 2021 that the Swedish quartet made a comeback with the album "Voyage" that was no longer considered possible and the avatar show Voyage in London has fascinated crowds ever since.
