From the Betamax Vault of WMF promoter Monte Carlo, we bring you Bill Mulkey and Randy Mulkey in one of the most shocking wins in the history of professional wrestling. In March of 1987, right before the The Jim Crockett Sr. Memorial Cup Tag Team Tournament in Baltimore, we were told all about the fearsome team known as The Gladiators, which were coming to be part of the tournament. This match on Saturday, March 28 was the Gladiator's TV debut, going up against (winless) Randy and Bill Mulkey on Superstation WTBS. It did NOT go as predicted. The video you see here was recorded by Mr. Carlo the next day on the "Sunday Edition" of the show, which features an ultra-rare follow-up interview with the Mulkeys.
