In lieu of a video about holiday gift knitting, I'm sharing everything I've knit more than once, and why I was happy to make the patterns multiple times. I came up with a criteria to discuss the repeatability of each item which includes: 1. Ease of use (Was the pattern easy to understand?) 2. Enjoyment / Satisfaction (Did I enjoy making the piece & am I satisfied with the end result?) 3. Time commitment (Did the item take an amount of time that it feels doable to knit again?) 4. Affordability (Can I make this item relatively affordably?) 5. Versatility (Would this accessory or garment appeal to and fit multiple different types of people?) Hoping this will provide some inspiration for some gift ideas either for yourself or for others, and to suggest patterns that could serve you many times if you decide to purchase them.
