When Virgin Voyages decided to set sail they wanted to change the rules of cruising. This touched every aspect of the ships design including the pool deck. As other lines are building increasingly large decks with massive pool and jungle gym complexes, Virgin has gone back to the roots of things. They've created a small pool deck for Valiant Lady that takes inspiration from the classic ocean liners and hotels. The Aquatic Club features a pool with a large wading area and rim allowing plenty of space for guests to gather and socialize as well as to host parties at night. This is further helped by the DJ booth above it along with the elaborate lighting, laser, and fog system implemented on the deck. In the middle of the space a round divided bar separates the space in to two areas with the Aquatic Club Bar on the Aquatic Club side and the Gym and Tonic Bar on the Well-Being Pool side. This separate smaller space features a large round dip pool as well as a pair of saunas. There are also several pieces of workout equipment along with windows looking into the space from the pair of B-Complex gyms. Compared to the party atmosphere of the Aquatic Club this space is quieter with a more relaxed vibe. While the pools are found on deck 15, directly above them deck 16 surrounds the two spaces to form what is known as The Sun Club. This area is perfect for sunbathing with unobstructed skies above and clear views out to sea. The very front of this area also features the Sun Club Cafe featuring a variety of poke bowls allowing sailors to grab a bight to eat without ever leaving the pool deck.
