Characters Kate Hayes/The Chaser Carl Ross/C.R Slenderman Charlie Matheson Jr Lauren • My take of the story In the 1900s, the Slenderman was summoned by Frieda Matheson who heard rumours about a demonic entity haunting the homestead. She, while trying to expel the said entity, summoned it into the world. The Slenderman became interested in the family and slowly started picking off the children. Years later, the Slenderman still stalks the Matheson family and one day lures Charlie Matheson Jr into the forest and kills him. A young man called Carl Ross takes interest in the disappearance and gets his friend Kate Hayes involved. He tries to help Charlies father (Charles Matheson) but Charles ends his own life by committing suicide-arson. The Slenderman then moves his attention to Carl and Kate. He starts haunting them, causing them to slowly lose sanity. Eventually, the Slenderman sets out eight of Kates drawings in the forest for her to find. She finds the eighth one but sadly she gets caught by the Slenderman quickly after. She somehow escapes but is still under slight control. Carl Ross finds her and takes her to the radia tower where his ‘plan’ to kill the Slenderman will take place. He covers himself in gasoline and tells Kate to do the same but she refuses and runs away. Carl Ross burns himself and Kate watches in despair as the Slenderman comes up from behind her and turns her into The Chaser. Meanwhile, Kates childhood best friend, Lauren, heard Kates scream while exploring her house. Kate sent Lauren a message saying she needed help selling her old house after her mother died. Lauren sees the decaying corpse that is Charlie Matheson Jr in his old burned family house, goes through the eight page torture Kate went through, got hunted by The Chaser in the Kullman Mines, saw the trauma of all of the Slendermans former victims, and escaped the Slenderman in a burning forest only to get killed by Kate. To this day, the Slenderman is still lurking in the forest, waiting for someone to hunt once again.
