The Bimba SPCS

The Bimba SPCS, or Servo Pneumatic Control System, is a great solution for obtaining accurate closed-loop pneumatic positioning. The SPSC can be easily installed and config­ured, and it provides positioning accuracy up to ± 1% of the actuator's full stroke—with loads up to 225 lbs and an average velocity as high as 20 inches per second. You can use the SPCS with any of Bimba's position feedback actuators—including PFC, PFCN, and PTF—with bore sizes from 1-1/16" thru 3". This allows the design engineer to create a solution to his or her specific motion control ap­plications.
