The application rate shown in this video follows the product label application rate: 2.5 tablespoons per 1 gallon of potting mix, for containerized plants only. The plants are grown in controlled enclosed residential environment excluding outdoor exposure. Product label: “This product is absorbed by roots and moves through the entire plant. New growth is protected against insects for up to 8 weeks.” The label instructs to work granules into top 1 to 2 inches of soil. Because the container height used to grow plants approximates 2-3 inches, the 2.5 tablespoons of the ingredient are mixed directly into the gallon of the potting mix to facilitate the application method recommended on the label.
