We used concrete bricks, which means we have to use an electric chisel, and dig channels in the brick so we can run the plumbing pipes. Normally concrete blocks are used in Mexico, and those are hollow so the plumbing pipes just go right into the block. But since we used bricks, we have to create the channels ourselves. We started with the bathroom, getting the water line for the toilet, and then the hot and cold water lines for the sink, washer/dryer, and shower done. Then we moved onto the kitchen, getting the sink, and dishwasher done. We finished out the weekend by measuring how much pipe we need to order, and how many connectors we need, so we can successfully run all of the plumbing. Unfortunately we weren't able to finish the installation, but it should be a breeze now that we have all of the channels dug!
