A deep gutter is made in made in the cornea parallel to the limbus. The anterior chamber is not yet opened. The conjunctiva is pushed towards the limbus with a blunt crystal tool. The anterior chamber is connected to the subconjunctiva, by making two tracks with 200 micron tip of Fugo blade, set at high energy. Each track shall be about 300 micron in diameter. The anterior chamber is now opened with a knife for about 2 mm.The pupil is contracted with intraocular carbachol. Iridectomy is done. The anterior chamber is irrigated to wash out pigment. Air is put and a contact lens is placed.The aqueous drains in to the conjunctival lymphatics.
