The equivalent of a male condom for women’s use is a female condom. A woman can use it to protect herself against most sexually transmitted diseases or to prevent unwanted pregnancy. In this video, I’m going to explain to you, how to use a female condom. When you buy the female condom, you’ll find three to five condoms in the box. Use only one at a time. Massage the pack to make sure that the lotion is distributed evenly within the condom. Find a sign – usually an arrow – at which you can tear open the wrapper. Open the wrapper, tearing from the arrow, in a straight line, along the side, till the end. Take the condom out of the wrapper. You’ll find that the condom has an open end and a closed end with a ring. Hold the ring at the closed end between the thumb and the rest of your fingers, so it would be squeezed flat. Hold the condom at the ring and make the open end directing downwards. Now, open the legs and insert the condom into the vagina. Make sure that the condom is inserted at a proper depth inside vagina, and that there is a part left outside to cover the labia. A female condom can be inserted up to eight hours before sexual intercourse. After intercourse, twist the outside part several times, then pull it out of the vagina. Now you can wrap the condom in a tissue and dispose it in the garbage can, and not in the toilet Female condoms are an excellent way to prevent pregnancy and protect you from most sexually transmitted infections.
