Formation of Vijayavalli Sudarshana Sewa Satsangam With such bhavana in mind and in order that the divine radiation spreads everwhere and the society at large begets peace and transquility , a handfull of like - minded individuals joined together and performed the first Sudarshana Homam in October 2001. However , the Divine Will of Lord Sudarshana . With his grace , the satsangam saw enrolment of more and more members who were overwhelmed by the way the satsangam performed homams at their residents . A fact that needs mention here is that some members are so impressed and divinely motivated that they have contributed in a big way so that the Satsangam could aquire idols (vigrahams) of Lord Sudarshana and His Consort Sri Vijayavalli Thayar . An idol of Lord Hanuman and Sri Andal was also presented to the satsangam by a member . Also , decorative ornaments and important tirumanjanam items , vaganams have been contributed by the members . Pilgrimages Undertakeb by the Satsangam From the year 2003 onwards , the Satsangam has been undertaking pilgrimage to Badrinath , Char Dhams , Muktinath , Naimisaranyam , Ayodhya , Goverdhan , Mathura , Brindavan , Chitrakoot and important shetrams . It is the endeavour of the satsangam to undertake pilgrims to holy places in order to help devotees reap spiritual benefits . The pilgrimages are undertaken purely on a spiritual plane with the organizers ( the satsangam ) seeking no monetary benefits but only helping fellow Baghavathas to undertake the pilgrimage in a purely divine ambience .
