By using a FANUC LR Mate 200iD/7C robot and modular clip handling tooling, the cell delivers accurate placement across a wide range of jar sizes while maintaining a sanitary, wash down ready environment. Operators load stacks of clips into dedicated infeed magazines. The robot then picks clips from the magazine, positions them above paired jars, and a press mechanism applies the clip securely around each lid. The result is a repeatable process that boosts production while reducing changeover time.
