Exactly 10 years ago, when I was working as a gardener at my previous job, I trimmed the hedges in this yard. It was one of the places where I worked regularly. Now, one of the companies has hired me to trim the hedges in these apartments. There were bushes of various shapes and sizes growing between the garages, so I decided to start working from that spot using a telescopic trimmer. I tried to give all the bushes a spherical shape. Ten years ago, all these bushes were no taller than 1 m, but after I quit, someone else didn't bother to trim them, and now some of them were over 2 meters tall! When I finished trimming, I started cleaning up, raking everything with a pitchfork and carrying it to the trailer. Then I collected the remains in a green bag and took them away. There was also a pile of dry branches next to the bushes, apparently more than a year old, so I decided to remove them and put them in the trailer. Then I started pruning near the house. First, I pruned the outside of the fence and moved to the other side. There were also a few bushes here, which I dealt with fairly quickly and also removed. Then I started trimming the hedge, which took some effort, especially when I trimmed the top, as this hedge was made of thorny shrubs. While I was cleaning up, I couldn't take everything down, as someone was having a small party with friends near one of the garages. Finally, it was time to trim the largest hedge, which was between the house and the store. It was clear that someone had trimmed it from the sidewalk side, possibly one of the store employees, as it had been trimmed on that side. Nevertheless, I still trimmed this hedge on all sides and then, using a ladder, began to trim it from the top. In some places, I had to use a chainsaw, as the thickness of the hedge trunks was quite large for the trimmer. Closer to the basement, the hedge was also thorny, and I tried not to touch the branches with my hands after cutting them, but carefully cleaned everything up. As I was walking to my car, an elderly man approached me. He said he was the manager of the store and asked me why I didn't trim that side at least a couple of times a year. He complained that he did it himself because the overgrown hedge made it difficult to roll out the trash cans and walk by. since the branches grow more than 1 meter wide. I explained to him that this was my first time working here in 10 years and that this was a one-time job, and that he should report this to the company that maintains this house. When I finished, I used a pitchfork to gather everything up again and transfer it to the trailer. I also had to pack everything tightly into the trailer. Finally, I used a backpack blower to blow everything away and collected the remains in a bag. This job took me a whole day, about 9 hours, and one fully loaded trailer!
