This video is a drum cover of Dire Straits tune "Lady Writer" off of their 1979 album, Communique'. Dire Straits guitarist Mark Knopfler is a phenomenal player. I enjoy playing this tune because it's an up beat rocker, with great instrumentation and vocals. I have wanted to cover a Dire Straits tune for a long time because everything that Mark Knopfler plays reminds me of a good friend who I played in a band with for many years named Pat Murphy. Pat is a great musician and guitarist who can really play Dire Straits tunes with perfection. Leave feedback and comments. Enjoy!
