The Nanhu Mountain region is located in the northern section of the Central Mountain Range. In addition to the main peak of Nanhu Mountain, which appears on the NT$2,000 bill, the area is surrounded by other distinctive peaks such as the East Peak, South Peak, and Zhongyangjian Mountain. Nestled between these peaks is a cirque with a dreamlike landscape that transforms with the seasons—each offering a unique and breathtaking view. For Wei-Che, Nanhu’s snowy scenery is unrivaled (perhaps along with the Holy Ridge). However, ever since leaving Wuling, Nanhu has felt so far away. After six long years, the opportunity finally came to return in the midst of a snowfall—and with fresh snow no less!
