Today we’re taking you on a journey through the millennia all the way to 5000 BC. That’s a longer time ago than the construction of the Pyramids! Here in Bougon 5 Neolithic monuments were constructed, together they form a veritable necropolis. We will take you around and into several tumuli and show how they were constructed. We’ll also show you how these can get eroded to form the dolmen we can sometimes see dotted around the landscape. We’ll also try and grasp the importance of deathcare for our Neolithic ancestors.
