Custom parts are hard to come by these days, and I've been having problems finding the right wheels and axles for my locomotive builds. After talking with a friend about it, he expressed the same concern, so we made a deal, and I leased a new Tormach 8L CNC lathe. This is a light production machine, the smallest I could finance, but the biggest I could afford (It cost more than my railroad did!). So it looks like I'm back to being a machinist, and now I can dig out all those old This Old Tony jokes and only show my hands in my videos (just kidding, lol!). What's for sure is that you're going to see more shop videos as I make this thing earn its keep. So, now I can get out in my shop and get the job done right. The third time!
