My fastest ever lap of the Madras Motor Race track! We couldn't record all the sessions, and the transponder for lap times also had quite a few niggles, the fastest we saw was a 1:56:268. This is the fastest lap i could manage to find on the GoPro Hero 5! THE BIKE The 2014 Triumph Daytona 675R is pretty well equipped in its stock form. with Ohlins suspension front and back, Brembo M40 callipers and Mcs master cylinder. EBCUK front brake pads, and maxima 600 series brake fluid. We had a Michellin Powerslick Evo rear tyre and a Metzeler Racetec RR front. The Engine and suspension completely serviced with fresh fluids from Liqui Moly, We have an Akrapovich slip on which sounds so sweet and to add to that we have a DNA air filter with a powercommander 5 to balance things out. MY GEAR I am using an IXON race suit, with Viaterra Grid Gloves and Sidi Boots. The helmet my favourite is the Scorpion R1 Air. This was recorded using a GOPRO HERO 5 BLACK. wiht 4K 30 fps THE LAP. The lap time can further be improved quite a bit. with some better brakes and rear-sets can do better. the pegs are very close to the ground and more lean angle will cause them to scrape. The brake setup is good, but we need a better set of pads to resist brake fade better and give a more consistent feedback. The last first and last sector has plenty of time to be found in the entry to the slower corners, which we will work on.
