Superstitions can easily be seen within the game of baseball dating back to the early 1900s. While recorded history isn’t as great before this time frame, there are still many curses, stories, tales, and other anecdotes that would have us believe that certain events caused outcomes on the game of baseball. Things such as a team unable to win a World Series for 100 years or more, along with many other streaks of bad luck as a result of a so called “curse.” Then, you have the weird things that ballplayers will do in order to not fall into a slump.
