I've been playing Gradius 2 a bit at Galloping Ghost Arcade lately, and I wanted to get a good run recorded with better video quality than the one that I did at the arcade. I picked weapon type 4, which is a common pick - but without autofire, you must constantly be pressing the fire button to use the ripple lasers. I think I'm done playing this type of game without autofire, it hurts and wears me out, and I'm getting too old! I purposely let the option-stealer take an option at the beginning of level 4, so he stops harassing me the rest of the game. Other than the constant mashing, I really enjoy this game and may continue playing it on MAME at home with other weapon types. Recorded using WolfMAME .106 on my Blast City cabinet - no cheats, hacks or autofire were used. Thanks for watching!
