Elden Ring Nightreign is a dark fantasy action-RPG spin-off set in an alternate timeline of the Elden Ring universe. Players become Nightfarers—elite warriors summoned to battle an encroaching supernatural darkness known as the Night. Set in the corrupted land of Limveld, the game unfolds over a deadly three-day cycle where players must explore, fight, and survive increasingly intense nights. With eight unique characters, evolving backstories, and a focus on strategic co-op or solo play, Nightreign blends Soulslike combat with roguelite progression in a world consumed by shadow. With The Forsaken Hollows expansion (released December 4, 2025), Nightreign gets a major content boost: Two new playable classes (Nightfarers): The Scholar, a book-wielding class whose strength lies in arcane knowledge and battlefield observation.
