Visiting the Most ISOLATED Winery in Spain!

A very surreal day trip to Bodega Finca Río Negro in the northern depths of Guadalajara province. This winery is the furthest away from any other regulated wine region, given it's almost 1000m in the air and not in any DO. After a tour of the beautiful vineyards, and a couple of vinos, we head to the attractive and weirdly monumental village of Cogolludo to spy the old stuff and eat heartily at Casa las Cabras. To end the freezing cold, wine filled day, we have a very odd visit to a convent that once ruined but was rebuilt by a madman, who also happens to make wine, and then visited the ruins of the Civil War destroyed Montarrón.
