To the best of my knowledge this is the first video or computer game that had 5 overlapping layers of fullscreen parallax. The game uses dual playfield and sprites to create the effect and still runs at a full 50fps. The foreground objects are the front playfield, the main game layer is the back playfield and the 3 layers in the background are taking advantage of the unlimited height sprites of the Amiga and also using the copper to recolor them. Fantasy Flyer came out in 1994 for both OCS/ECS Amigas (with 3 layers of parallax) and for AGA Amigas (with 5 layers of parallax) and it wasn't until 1996 with games like the Adventures of Lomax on the PS1 that you'd see games with this much overlapping parallax again. Shout out to the teenage programmer Gabriel Leroy for making history! Level 1 0:00 Level 2 0:12 Level 3 0:25 Level 4 0:44 Level 5 1:03
