In December 2024, Sebastian Studnitzky recorded his new album KY! live at the legendary Meistersaal in Berlin — 30 musicians, a select audience, one room, one take, no overdubs. Amaya began as a small piano sketch and grew into an epic journey with orchestra, band and trumpet — capturing the essence of KY!: trust, risk and the power of collective creation. ⸻ About STUDNITZKY Sebastian Studnitzky – trumpeter, pianist and composer – moves effortlessly between jazz, classical and electronic soundscapes. An ECHO Jazz and Opus Klassik award-winner, founder of the XJAZZ Festival and XJAZZ Music, he’s known for his elegant crossing of genres and his cinematic, emotional style. ⸻ Recording Session Recorded live at Meistersaal Berlin, an iconic studio with a legacy that includes David Bowie and U2. The ensemble featured Studnitzky’s core band and the Chamber Orchestra of the Odesa Philharmonic, conducted by Volodymyr Dykyi. Engineering & Mix: Arne Schumann All tracks were performed live, capturing the energy of a concert performance.
