On December 27, 2025, I got to visit the Seattle waterfront again! I got a camcorder for Christmas, so bear with me while I get more practice with it. At about 11:22 am, Engine 5 was dispatched to a reported collision four blocks south of Station 5. I was walking toward Station 5 when they left the station, so I didn't get my preferred angle but at least I got something. I was able to catch a responding AMR unit as well to a separate call. Engine 5 returned about 25 minutes later and I was able to catch them backing into Station 5's bay. Side note: the Marion Street pedestrian bridge is my new favorite spot to get pictures of incoming planes while keeping tabs on Station 5. At 12:42 pm, Engine 5 was dispatched to an illegal burn, a code yellow response without lights and sirens. I also got a brief (unstabilized) video of the fireboat team returning. Engine 5 has one of the fleet's newest vehicles, a 2024 Pierce Enforcer, one of three trucks that feature the department's new livery. I'm yet to get the angle I want but hopefully next time I'll have better luck! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VIDEO TIMELINE 0:00 - E5 responding code red 0:26 - AMR 244 (05992) responding 0:57 - E5 returning 1:43 - E5 start-up 2:03 - E5 responding code yellow 2:38 - E4 (fireboat team) returning (Images) 2:49 - AMR 241 (02293) on scene with E5 of a collision 3:02 - E4 Transport, back of Aid 10, SPD meter maid, and special Alaska Airlines livery! This channel focuses on their actions, responses, and of course their shiny trucks. WTCR is not monetized. Thanks for watching! These descriptions sure take a long time to write...
