** Caution - Trek is more difficult than they appear in this video (hahahaha) Please understand that on a difficult stretch our entire focus remains on the trail and in crossing it without falling and getting injured..that is why I decided to write this as a caution. Hey Guys ! I discovered myself for the first time when i did a Himalayan trek in 2019 - Hampta Pass. Since then i decided to give myself this detox every year once. However, I suffered a knee injury the same year and couldn’t continue this saga. After spending 1 year in rehab, i started doing short hikes in order to gain confidence in myself. In 2022, when we moved to Ladakh i did a couple of more difficult hikes and realized that i can finally take it to a multi-day trek. So, KGL was my comeback trek in the Himalayas. All i can say is that it was totally worth the wait !! Treks for me are a way to heal myself by spending some time away from the civilization and modern day basic luxury of our lives, with like minded humans. And I am sure people who have done a trek will agree with me, when I say that the bonds you form during this time are so pure and real. Total strangers on first day are besties by the end of the trek. I feel - This is the way of life !! This is exactly how we were suppose to live - SIMPLE and EASY...
