Trying Lace Insertion for the first time | Sewing Vlog

I decided to try a new (to me) technique called 'lace insertion' and thought I'd film it! Lace insertion is the technique of adding strips of lace between pieces of fabric - either for decoration or more practically for it can be used to extend the size of a garment. I made this simple blouse with some eyelet lace I had on hand and a piece of cotton that was otherwise not big enough to make a garment with.
