It’s been months since the state successfully flattened the curve of the coronavirus outbreak, but a rash of new cases in Lakewood is causing heightened concern in Ocean County. More than one in four residents there who were tested for COVID-19 this Saturday had a positive result. Thursday Gov. Phil Murphy's office is reporting 663 new positive cases in New Jersey, pushing the statewide cumulative total to 206,889 with five new deaths and 16,127 confirmed and probably lives lost.
