SYRIA - A 5 Day Journey Across the Country (2022)
I spent 5 days in Syria in the beginning of June this year and what an incredible experience it was. The journey took me from the capital Damascus to Maaloula, Mar Musa, Homs, Krak Des Chevaliers, Palmyra and Busra in the south of the country. My friend and I booked a tour with the agency Marrota, we chose their 4 day guided tour and added a few adjustments to the itinerary such as an extra night in Damascus and a trip to the Monastery of Saint Moses the Abyssinian. Marrota arranged our transportation back and forth from Beirut to Damascus, all transportation and accommodation while in Syria, breakfast and entry tickets to all sights. A huge thanks to our guide Shamal for showing us this beautiful country and taking care of us during out stay.
