Crochet easy summer hat for 1 to 3 years old girl. Step by step crochet tutorial. This is from round 1 to 18 only. This hat is similar design to my older video(red and white baby girl hat). But I changed the pattern a little bit & I used cotton yarn on this one and more detailed video tutorial. Yarn used: Medium 4 weight yarn, 100 % cotton(I love this cotton brand). About 200 yards. Crochet hook: 3.5mm Hat's circumference: 19 inches. If you like it bigger, use 4.00mm to 4.25mm crochet hook or make a bigger flat hat's circle. Just make sure the stitches at the end of the flat circle is multiple of 3. TIP on How to get your desired hat's size: You can get your flat circle diameter by dividing the head circumference by 3.14 then subtract (.5) for nice fitting....Example - Head circumference is 20 inches then divide by 3.14 equals 6.4 then subtract .5 equals 5.9..You can make the hat's circle from 5.75 to 6 inches for 20 head circumference. This is my estimation only.
