In this session, I wrap up my series on the COVID crisis. I start with an overview of markets, and note that while equities have reclaimed almost all of what was lost in the first five weeks of the crisis, the recovery has caused a reallocation of value across regions and sectors, with capital light businesses gaining at the expense of capital intensive businesses. It has enriched stocks with high PE ratios and no or low dividends at the expense of stocks with low PE ratios and high dividends. It has also allowed young, growth companies to prosper at the expense of older, more mature companies. I close the session by looking at the S&P 500 on November 1, updating my valuation of the index to reflect more updated information, and conclude that while stocks are slightly over valued, they are not outlandishly so.
