Halls of Honor was commissioned by the Arkansas Chapter of Phi Beta Mu in honor of Eldon Jansen, Band Director Emeritus at the University of Arkansas. The premier performance was at the Arkansas Bandmasters Convention by the United States Army Field Band, Colonel Thomas H. Palmatier, conductor. Program Note from score A truly outstanding work! Program Note from publisher David Gorham was director of bands at Owasso, Oklahoma High School from 1989 to 2014, and has recently returned to Owasso as the Interim Director of Band Operations for 2024-2025. The Oklahoma City Symphonic Band is under the direction of Dr. Mark G. Belcik.
