Boracay Travel Vlog: La Carmela vs. Diamond Edge Hotel

Today’s vlog is all about sun, sand, and family time in the beautiful Boracay Island! [03:17]. As a Filipina Youtuber, I’m so excited to share our 2024 summer trip, featuring some of my favorite spots and stays on the island. We started our trip at La Carmela de Boracay, where we enjoyed their classic breakfast buffet [07:52]. However, for the second half of our trip, we moved to my absolute favorite—Diamond Edge Hotel [09:01]. I’m doing a room tour of our family group room, which features a massive TV, a large fridge, and a semi-balcony with a street view [09:43], [10:27], [11:11]. The best part about Diamond Edge is having breakfast right by the beach! [14:21]. In this Pinoy Vlog, we also went on an inland tour to the Mangrove Park and the famous leaning coconut tree at Bulabog Beach [04:53], [05:31]. Of course, a trip to Boracay isn't complete without food! We visited Real Coffee to try their world-famous calamansi muffins—they are so native and affordable [01:57], [02:06]. We also explored D'Mall, checking out spots like Coco Mama and various buffet offers [18:23], [19:15]. The highlight of the trip was definitely the Sunset Cruise [14:46]. Even though it was super hot during the 3:00 PM departure, watching the sky turn orange from the boat was a total "sana all" moment [17:04]. We ended our trip with a final night in Cebu, staying at Savoy Hotel Mactan Newtown before heading home to CDO [21:06]. Being a Filipino expat usually based in Ukraine, these tropical family moments are what I treasure most. I hope this lifestyle vlog helps you plan your own Boracay getaway!
