I was meaning to get it done by August … but a mix of Silksong, Lie algebra, applications, and other hunts took out a good portion of my time. I was also working concurrently with another hunt video, which fortunately shouldn’t take that much longer to finish (hopefully ... I did not expect video exporting to take that long). As usual, I keep the visuals as accurate to the hunt plot as much possible but with creative liberties when there aren’t any visuals … or when said visuals are done by AI. Yep, I went out of my way to replace much of the AI-generated art … especially in the climax. The Rival scene is portrayed more like a video game rival battle, with mechanics that use a mix of a certain final boss and a clash of ideas discussed more thoroughly in my 1st place pick. By the way … in the early drafting stages, I planned to do a composite of Grand Hunt 1-2 … but there were too many good puzzles for Grand Hunt 2 to not get a separate video. As such, I planned on having HMs that also added in HMs for the original Grand Hunt as a surprise, but a mix of time limits and the first hunt site being down meant I ultimately scrapped it.
