Day 3 began before sunrise, with us rolling out at 6 AM toward Dhanushkodi. That stretch of road, a thin line between two restless oceans, felt like riding at the edge of the world. The breeze was cold, the throttle smooth, and the sky slowly shifting from grey to gold. Reaching Ram Setu at sunrise brought a stillness that hits deeper when you arrive on two wheels. Just sea, sky, and the soft hum of the engine cooling down. From there we rode to the Kodanda Ramar Temple, following a narrow strip where the water almost touches the tyres. Roads like that make you forget everything else. The temple stood quietly at the end, offering a calm that only comes after a thoughtful morning ride. We headed back and then I spent the afternoon on the beach, alone spending some time with myself. A much needed time off everything & everyone except one, letting the waves and warmth slow the world down a little. Sand underfoot, bike resting nearby, and the ocean reminding me why journeys matter more than destinations. Evening took us to the grand Rameshwaram Temple. With every pour of water, it felt like the dust of the road and the weight of the miles washed away. A reset every one secretly appreciates on a long trip. Night brought the moment that settled perfectly into the day. The three of us sat at the shore on a small platform of rocks, raised just enough to watch the ocean stretch into the dark. The sound of the waves, the low-lit sky, and the quiet comfort of friends who understand the road the same way you do. We talked about the ride, about moments big and small, and about how the journey was shaping us without us even noticing. And as the night thinned out, our minds were already on the next sunrise. Tomorrow the bikes point toward Kanyakumari. New roads waiting, new winds to follow, and another chapter opening at the southern tip of the country. No hurry. No expectations. Only the open road calling us forward. Day 4 of our South India ride. Started early morning from Rameshwaram to Kanyakumari. A day folder with train and beautiful roads of Tamil Nadu. Unfortunately we couldn’t see much in Kanyakumari since the entry for most places closes at 4pm.
