Ep 05 - PAYBACK (Missions 08,09,10,11) | Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition

Welcome to Episode 5 of Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition — a main story–only gameplay series. Mission 08: Meet Winston (Cutscene) This episode begins with a cutscene in which Wei Shen formally meets Winston, setting up the events that follow. Mission 09: Listening In Wei Shen goes to Ping’s music store and takes the bag from Not Ping. When Wei Shen steps outside, a thief steals it, forcing Wei Shen into a foot chase. Wei Shen catches him and knocks him out to recover the bag. Next, Wei Shen heads to the Golden Koi restaurant. Using the scaffolding on the right side of the building, Wei Shen climbs up and reaches the skylight. After a short scene, Wei Shen opens the skylight and drops inside. Wei Shen now has two and a half minutes to plant the bug and escape. Wei Shen goes to the vent in the corner and uses the left stick to unscrew it. Wei Shen places the bug and calibrates it using both sticks until the circles turn bright green and the bars at the top are filled. After calibrating the bug, Wei Shen screws the vent back in. Wei Shen then heads to the door and picks the lock by raising the pins with the right stick and switching pins with the left stick. When all pins turn green, Wei Shen exits the restaurant, completing the mission. Mission 10: Chain of Evidence Wei Shen meets Raymond under the bridge at the marker and follows his instructions. The task mainly involves shooting enemies, using cover, and moving through the area as directed. Toward the end of the mission, police arrive, and Wei Shen must evade the cops to finish the mission. Mission 11: Payback Wei Shen goes to Club Bam Bam to start the mission and talks with Winston. After the conversation, Wei Shen heads outside and prepares to move to the warehouse. Wei Shen gets into the SUV and follows the lead car to the destination. Once there, Wei Shen enters the building and takes out several groups of enemies. Deeper inside, a pistol-wielding enemy appears, and Wei Shen vaults to take him down and collect his gun. Wei Shen clears the remaining rooms and heads upstairs to the office, where Siu Wah is found. When Siu Wah runs, Wei Shen chases him through the warehouse until catching him near the furnace. Wei Shen grapples him and sprints while carrying him to escape the building quickly, running past the enemies that appear and heading straight for the exit. Outside, a cutscene plays, followed by a motorcycle chase. Wei Shen hijacks the vehicle Siu Wah is riding in, then loses the police and drives to the bus station.
