We made it to the Pueblo Mágico, Tequila in the state of Jalisco during Mexican Independence Day weekend. The town was hopping and lots of the famous agave spirit was consumed. But the highlight of our stay was a last minute visit to the legendary Fortaleza distillery where we learned all about the process of making tequila the old-school way.
