After speaking with at fault driver, officers began to suspect that she was under the influence. After the field sobriety tests concluded, she was transported to the Satellite Beach Police Department to complete a breathalyzer. Liberty blew 0.00 on the breathalyzer and was transported to the Melbourne Police Department for a urine sample. She provided the sample and quickly became combative. Liberty was transported to a local hospital for medical clearance before being transported to the Brevard County Jail. According to the report, while twisting and pulling away from the officers, she struck one with her elbow, causing them to take her to the ground. She was initially charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence, DUI causing property damage, and reckless driving involving alcohol or a controlled substance. She entered a plea deal for battery on a law enforcement officer and reckless driving involving alcohol or a controlled substance. Her adjudication was withheld and she was sentenced to 12 months of probation. She was also ordered to pay a total of $1,534, complete an in-person 10 hour anger management course, and complete 50 hours of community service with the option to buyout half at $10 per hour.
