An extended advert for the Ford Thunderbird range of 1967. I think this promo was made for sales staff rather than the public. In any case the footage promotes the many advantages of these cars...I found myself wanting one before it had finished. This may have been colour footage to start with, but the 16mm copy I was working with was very red faded, so I went for black and white. Incidentally, this was projected rather than digitised. One advantage of doing so is that you get a broader range of contrasts...i.e., dark areas look less totally black and light areas look less totally white. There is overall more detail...provided you can find the sweet spot with camera and projector phasing. There were no credits at all with the film I found.
