On December 18, 2023, my daughter and I went for a short evening walk. It was very cold and clear, and Hannah spontaneously took some photos with her cell phone in the wonderful light in the quiet nature with the waxing moon. When I saw the pictures at home, I noticed the interesting color gradients, the transition from day to night, the rising fog in the valleys and the play of colors in the sky at the autumn-winter sunset. That evening, the idea for the title “Calming Colors” for the new album was born. Here you can see the beautiful and inspiring original images that later became the cover artwork for the CD.
