I've been looking for a small, cheap and portable fogger/smoke machine for ages. I have a bug yard fogger I use with fog juice when I need to do large areas. It works OK, but sputters if used too long. It's not practical when you need portability, in small spaces, etc. So I came up with this. I have a lot of friends who vape, but none of their kits blew enough fog. Plus I really don't want to inhale (see, sometimes it's true!) when I can avoid it. So I started looking at sub-Ohm vape kits. These are used by "cloud chasers", the people that blow those insane billows of clouds. BUT - I'm cheap. I don't want to wind custom coils, drip juice onto cotton and so on. So I guess I'm lazy as well. So I searched high and low and found this nifty little unit. You can find plenty of reviews on YouTube. It was $70 or so a few months ago. I picked up a new one on eBay for $40 this week (November 2016.) I already have 18650 batteries - if you need one (the unit uses one) you'll need a flat top battery. Most have button tops - a button top won't fit. CORRECTION: I said 1/4" tubing in the video. It's standard aquarium tubing (1/8th inch!) Sorry. It literally takes a few seconds to assemble and you're good to go. You need juice - I suggest 80% or higher VG. VG (vegetable based glycerin) gives more clouds than PG (Propylene Glycol), and that's what we're after. I also go with zero nicotine. I spent $28 for a 60ml bottle. You'll probably want spare coils - a 5 pack is around $14 with free shipping. So all told I have $85 invested and have a great little fogger! Remember I mentioned inhaling? This thing produces fog when you BLOW as well. So stick in that tubing and exhale. It can be a little messy - some e-juice will spray out, but not a lot. The VG tends to be sticky, so keep a couple of hand-wipes on hand. Main unit: Smok Nano One ($41.95 on eBay 11/15/16) Extra Coils: SMOK Micro-CLP2 Coils (5 pack, $14 eBay 11/15/16) eJuice: $28 locally. 1/8" Tubing: I had it lying around. But around $4 otherwise. You can get smaller bottles of e-Juice for $5-$8, but cost per ML is a LOT cheaper in big bottles! OK - vape enthusiasts, don't get all salty - this video is not for you. I made it for photographers who need portable fog.
