My interpretation is based on the studio version. Not much more to be said really. I won't be justifying time-signature, note choices etc. this time. It is what it is. Just play the small notes quietly and ignore the (bracketed) notes entirely if you so wish. Ossia staves seemed to me the better way to show slight differences and so what if it's unusual 🤣 If you don't grok 8+1/8, check out t'interweb (I've just got back from the pub, hic 🤤). Sorry if it's really difficult to play in places (especially bars 83-93 as your hands can get in the way of each other), but it is possible; trust me 😊 Finally, apologies for Sibelius's dodgy video export; as usual, the PDF is far more user-friendly! 😊 Anyway, use lots of sustain pedal and enjoy it for what it is! 😉 I'm hoping to transcribe all the songs (I've already done a few) that The Musical Box played on their recent incredible 1972/3 tour recreation that I saw in Cambridge last Thursday (even Twilight Alehouse possibly) plus a couple more from Selling England.
