Kochi blasts | NSG team rushed to Kerala for probe, IED device confirmed, what we know so far

Multiple explosions at a prayer meeting of Jehovah’s Witness believers at the Convention Centre jolted Kerala. At least one person was killed and 36 were critically wounded in the explosion in Kalamassery area. Soon after the horrific incident, HM Amit Shah spoke to Kerala Chief Minister P Vijayan and took stock of the situation. The Home Minister instructed NIA and NSG to reach on the spot and start an inquiry into the incident. An 8-member NSG team, including an officer, is on the way to Kerala to inquire about the bomb explosion. Meanwhile, Kerala Police suspected Improvised explosive devices behind the Kerala blast tragedy.
