Is a farm community located in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh state, India. Spread over 60 acres of land, it was started in the year 2018 under the aegis of Nanda Gokulam Goshala Trust This Community also maintains Goshala and a Vedic Gokulam. Currently there are 80 residents in this community. Kurmagram is striving to create a self-sufficient and self-sustainable community along with reviving and preserving our ancient Indian Vedic culture based on Vedic scriptures such as Bhagavad Gita and #SrimadBhagavatam. In order to achieve this, the community members have chosen a very simple, ecofriendly and agrarian lifestyle. Reaching There: By Road: Kurmagram is about 60 km from Srikakulam Town. You can take a taxi or a bus from Srikakulam to the farm, which is roughly a 1.5-hour drive. The road leading to Kurmagram is well-maintained and offers scenic views of the countryside. By Air: The nearest airport is Visakhapatnam International Airport, which is approximately 120 km away. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or rent a car for the 2.5-hour drive to Kurmagram. By Train: The closest railway station is Srikakulam Road (Amadalavalasa), about 50 km from the community. Once you arrive at the station, you can easily get a taxi or local transport to reach Kurmagram, which takes around 1 hour. Local Transport: Regular buses and shared autos operate between Srikakulam and nearby areas. However, for a direct and convenient journey, hiring a private vehicle is recommended.
